I am a Professor of Audio and Music Technology at UFBA. I hold a doctoral and a master degree at UNICAMP. I had worked in 2015 as Visiting Graduate Researcher at the UCLA. I completed a pos-doctoral fellowship at ECA-USP. I have a Bachelor degree in music at FASM, I also have a technical degree in Guitar at EMESP, where I also studied Composition.
I am the author of the book "Entrevistas com Compositores Brasileiros de Música para Audiovisual e Dramaturgia" and the website "Moacir Santos' Film Scores", funded by RUMOS Itaú Cultural and FAPESP.
I taught Guitar, Music Theory, Ear Training and Band Practice at the Municipal Music Conservatory of Barueri. I also taught Music Appreciation at Santa Cruz High School, and Harmony in the Film Scoring graduate program at Anhembi Morumbi.
I have been the guitar player of Orquestra Jovem Tom Jobim, conducted by maestro Roberto Sion. I did perform with Big Band da Santa, conducted by maestro Paulo Tiné. I this group I was guitarrist (2010), saxophonist (2009) and wrote several arrangements.
